Cookie Policy

Synctoolo keeps tracking to a minimum. This page explains what is stored in your browser and why.

Last updated: June 24, 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files websites store in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which can save preferences on your device.

2. How Synctoolo uses storage

We use browser storage only where it improves your experience:

  • Favorites: If you star a tool, we save that list locally so it appears on your next visit.
  • Recent tools: Recently opened tools may be stored locally for quick access.
  • Theme or UI preferences: If a setting can be remembered, it may be saved on your device only.

This data stays on your device. Synctoolo does not read it from our servers unless a future feature explicitly requires sync, in which case we will update this policy first.

3. What we do not use

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Cross-site tracking pixels
  • Social media embed trackers for analytics
  • Third-party marketing profiles built from your tool usage

4. Essential server cookies

Our hosting infrastructure may set strictly necessary cookies or tokens to maintain security, load balance traffic, or protect against abuse. These cannot be disabled without breaking core site functionality.

5. Managing cookies and local storage

You can control storage through your browser:

  • Block or delete cookies in browser settings
  • Clear site data for synctoolo.com to reset favorites and recents
  • Use private or incognito mode if you do not want preferences saved

Blocking storage may limit features such as saved favorites but will not prevent you from using tools.

6. Third-party links

External links (for example, donation pages) may set their own cookies. Review their policies before interacting with those services.

7. Updates

If our use of cookies changes, we will update this page and the date above. See also our Privacy Policy.
